Have you ever felt that you are a shell of who you used to be? Not wanting to visit family or friends, go anywhere, or commit to any plans due to devastating fatigue, anxiety, and/or other symptoms.

17 years ago, I was a shell of who I used to be due to many mineral imbalances and heavy metal toxicity.  My poor health and many other symptoms have disappeared because of Dr. Paul Eck’s research he called Mineral Balancing.

Mineral balancing science uses hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) which is a magnificent tool that provides information to design a program that is just for you.

We use a whole body approach that includes food guidelines, nutrient supplements, detoxification protocols, and lifestyle improvements that are based on your HTMA results.

You also get to work with me; you do not have to walk this journey alone.

Mineral balancing gives you the potential to be what you want to be.

Dr. Heather Kneale – Naturopath, PhD

Our programs are unique because we use a hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA). With your HTMA results we can recommend a specific diet, supplementary nutrients, detoxification protocols, and lifestyle recommendations to increase your energy level.Isn’t it time to enjoy your life the way you want to?

Mineral Balancing Program Benefits

What is a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis?

HTMA tests for 21 nutritive and toxic minerals. It is a screening test that measures the mineral content of your hair, which reflects the mineral content of your body’s tissues.  If a mineral deficiency or mineral excess exists in the hair, it usually indicates a mineral imbalance within the body. Sometimes minerals are bio-unavailable meaning the body can’t utilize them.  It does not diagnose disease.

Possible conditions that may be the result of a mineral imbalance:

  • Depression
  • Hypoglycemia
  • Hyperactivity
  • Headaches
  • Hypertension
  • Arthritis
  • Hair Loss
  • Anemia
  • Thyroid Disturbance
  • Prostate Disorders
  • Digestive Disturbance
  • Diabetes
  • Musculo-Skeletal Disorders
  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Skin Rashes
  • Emotional Problems
  • Allergies
  • Auto-immune issues
  • A condition that no one has the answer to
  • A condition that no one knows what to do to help

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis can Reveal:

  • Individual diet and supplement recommendations (rather than guessing)
  • Mineral deficiencies and imbalances
  • Heavy metal toxicity
  • Metabolic rate (metabolism)
  • Stress and its effect on energy and health
  • Early “disease” trends
  • Cellular energy levels
  • Autonomic nervous system imbalances
  • Glucose tolerance
  • Adrenal and thyroid activity
  • Mental and/or emotional issues

Healthy Food Guideline

Hair mineral analysis is an excellent way to guide dietary recommendations and to measure how a person is breaking down food. Dr. George Watson, author of Nutrition and Your Mind, based the concept of metabolic typing on results he saw as he researched aspects of human metabolism. Dr. Eck, founder of ARL (Analytical Research Labs, Inc.) was the first person to identify and correlate hair mineral ratios with oxidation types.

Using HTMA we can obtain:

  • Rate at which your body release energy from the food you eat (metabolism)
  • Feedback on if the diet is correct for your body chemistry

There are two oxidation types: Slow and fast.

Slow Oxidation An individual that releases energy from food too slowly. 80% of all hair charts show slow oxidation. To help a slow oxidizer get more energy we have to speed up the oxidation rate. Food guidelines include: high-quality proteins, preferably organically grown cooked vegetables, and a moderate portion of specified complex carbohydrates. These foods help to improve blood sugar, support the adrenals and thyroid activity, and improve energy levels.Fast Oxidation An individual who released energy from foods too quickly. To help give a fast oxidizer more long-lasting energy, we have to slow down the oxidation rate. Food guidelines include: high-quality preferably raw fats and oils. They also need plenty of cooked vegetables and some high-quality animal protein daily. They require fewer carbohydrates than slow oxidizers. Sugars and refined starches are particularly harmful for fast oxidizers.Detoxification ProtocolsDetoxification is a major focus of Global Nutritional Healing. We do not force toxins out of your body; we give your body what it needs so it can gently and safely remove toxins. The dietary recommendations, supplements, and lifestyle changes can help remove:All of the toxic metals: Cadmium, Mercury, Copper, Lead, Arsenic, Nickel (at least two dozen)Toxic forms of minerals: These include toxic forms of the “amigos”. The main 3 are Iron, manganese, and aluminum. Sometime chromium and selenium can be toxic forms.Toxic chemicals: These are found in the water, air, food, cosmetics, household products, and others.Biological toxins: These include millions of bacteria, viruses, fungi or yeasts, and parasites.

Why add detoxification protocols?

They can help speed up your healing process. Many clients, including children, have sluggish eliminating organs such as the liver, lungs, lymphatic system, colon, kidneys, and skin. Some clients just do not progress without one or more of the detoxification protocols.

Our optional detoxification protocols:

  • Near infrared sauna
  • Coffee enemas
  • Skin brushing
  • Castor oil packs
  • Epsom salt bath
  • Liver gallbladder cleanse
  • Hand and foot reflexology
  • Ozone therapy
  • Colon hydrotherapy
  • And others

How do I pick a detoxification protocol?

It is best to start with dietary changes, spring water, and a few supplements before adding a detoxification procedure to your program. We can help pick which detoxification procedure is right for you and  help monitor your progress.

Lifestyle Changes for Better Health

What is lifestyle? It is how you live your life from day to day. It includes habits and attitudes. Our lifestyles can stress and deplete us of vital nutrients. Lacking in vital nutrients our body will replace them with toxic metals such as mercury, copper, cadmium, aluminum and others. Our body becomes a bunch of replacement parts that do not work as well as the original parts. A healthy lifestyle will significantly enhance the speed at which your body chemistry rejuvenates.

Here are some examples of poor lifestyle choices:

  • Sedentary
  • Staying  indoors all day long
  • Going to bed late, get up early
  • No exercise/movement of the body
  • Hurrying chaotic everyday
  • Skipping meals
  • Eating on the run
  • Eating rapidly and/or not chewing food well
  • Negative thinking/self-talk
  • Not forgiving yourself
  • Not loving yourself
  • Smoking, alcohol, drugs
  • Not drinking water
  • Taking stimulants to keep going
  • Never having time for you
  • Many others
Our daily habits become who we are. Just making small changes in our lifestyle can make huge differences in our health. Your practitioner can help you reach your healthy lifestyle goals. Remember, it takes time and patience when making lifestyle changes. It took years to get where you are, and it will take time to get to where you want to be.

Nutrient Supplements

From your HTMA results, we know exactly what supplement program to recommend thanks to Dr. Paul Eck, founder of mineral balancing science. Each mineral in the body has an affect on other minerals in the body. No mineral works alone. For example, taking a little iron to help your energy can affect many other minerals in your body. Sodium, potassium, and manganese can go up while magnesium, calcium, copper, and zinc can go down. The beauty of this program is that we take into account how minerals interact with each other when setting up your supplement program.
I am against people taking random supplements without knowing what they are doing. There is no way of knowing what you are doing without the intelligent use of hair tests. Dr. Paul Eck

Why do we need to take supplements?

  • Depleted soils
  • Long transit times
  • Bad eating habits and lack of regular meals
  • Digestive issues as we age (less stomach acid)
  • Malabsorption
  • Hybrid crops with fewer nutrients (grown for quantity rather than quality)
  • Food processing often lowers nutrient quality
  • For optimal, not adequate health
  • Modern day stressful lifestyles
